Function
As a Cyber Strategy Consultant, you play a key role in strengthening E-Solutions’ services by helping clients elevate their cybersecurity maturity. This requires a deep understanding of clients' complex security needs, which you translate into a feasible and effective cybersecurity roadmap. Working closely with other cybersecurity experts, you are responsible for analyzing security risks, developing risk mitigation measures, and guiding clients in building a robust and future-proof cybersecurity strategy.
Within the Cyber Strategy team, you also contribute to E-Solutions' strategic plan, a cornerstone of its growth ambitions and service development. You assist in expanding the company’s expertise in critical areas, ensuring that E-Solutions continues to stand out as a leading and reliable partner in Cybersecurity Strategy & Execution. In this way, you directly impact both the success of the clients and the growth and positioning of E-Solutions in the market.
Responsibilities and Duties
The role is divided into two domains, each accounting for approximately 50% of your time:
- NIS2 and ISMS
Supporting NIS2 compliance and establishing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) for clients. These tasks include conducting Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments, performing risk assessments, and developing policies and procedures that meet NIS2 and ISMS standards (based on frameworks such as ISO 27001, CCB CyFun, and IEC 62443).
- Assessments and Security Management
Performing assessments and managing security measures. This includes tasks such as vulnerability management, conducting cloud security reviews, and supporting SIEM activities. These efforts help clients evaluate and enhance their security posture through in-depth checks and analyses.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- At least initial relevant work experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a dynamic environment such as a cybersecurity consultancy, Big Four firm, MSSP, or innovative start-up.
- Knowledge of the OSI model, relevant network protocols, and fundamental principles of network security.
- Strong foundation in analyzing security risks and developing risk mitigation measures.
- Certifications such as CEH, GCIH, OSCP, or similar accreditations are a plus.
- Familiarity with security standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS is an advantage.
